Fíjense ustedes a ver si no tengo razón.

Para empezar, el título del blog lo traducen como “Without jaws”...Como diría Charlie Brown: "good grief!!!" En la pregunta de hoy ponen lo siguiente: Are They saw that the U.S. Navy is subastando Internet thousands of acres Roosevelt Roads? Will anyone in Puerto Rico who can still believe that we are not a colony?

FOR SALE (almost our entire country)
A few days ago came the news that historical documents stolen from Arecibo in 1972 are being sold in pulgueros and fairs and the Government could not do anything about it. This was stated at the news of El Vocero, the director of the General Archive of Puerto Rico, noting that''there are records of those slaves. If you are going to the fairs, as I have seen, going to be slaves to register the sale, which were stolen in Arecibo in the seventies. The law, unfortunately, does not give me the power to collect and traérmelos''for the General Archive, Karim said Cardona. To date there has not been any reaction to what denounced by her.

The date of 1972 was the same happened in the theft of the most valuable piece of pictorial art throughout our history. This is the Virgin of Bethlehem, table Flemish sixteenth century which was the subject of worship after the Puerto Rican victory over the British in 1797. Campeche made many copies of that painting and those copies are what we have left of the original that was for centuries in the chapel of the Virgin of Bethlehem Church in San Jose. The strange thing about this case is that it has never emerged in the press if it is still investigating the theft. It is as if there had not been, and my suspicion is that the person must have some hidden mogul untouchable. Or while ago was sold outside Puerto Rico.

Several weeks ago on the blog Digital Ink alerted something scandalous, that has not gone anywhere in over the sale of archaeological relics tainas Internet. In his entry from October 30 Eugene included the list of some of the antiquities for sale as described in Ebay:

* TAINO STONE CAOBABA IDOL CEMI / MEDIUM ZEMI GRANITE
* LIGHT TAINO ROUGH STONE LARGE CEMI / ZEMI PUERTO RICO
* TAINO SOLID WHITE MARBLE or QUARTZ PESTLE (HAND)
* Pre-Columbian Taino Art Carved Stone Zimi Ceremonial Ax
* Pre-Columbian Taino Art Carved Stone Three-Pointer Zimi
* Pre-Columbian Taino Art Carved Stone Three-Pointer Zimi
* Pre Columbian TAINO Stone Zemi Ch. 900 AD

He concluded that "this is illegal, but do not worry because there is no government." I completely agree.

In the same week have been reported already proven illegality of the sale of the land where lies the Paseo Caribbean which in turn endangers the Fort St. Jerome. And the Governor does nothing. It makes public the transfer to the United States of countless archaeological pieces of the newly discovered deposit in Ponce. And the Governor does nothing. It is rumored to be selling Princess to convert the former prison into a hotel. And the Governor says nothing.

While the widespread theft of cultural and historical heritage happens, the Governor is responsible for ensuring his re-election no matter what. What it is to win elections. The question is what or who is interested to continue governing?
